Neelam is a Research Officer in the Yardhura Walani, Cultural and Wellbeing Program at the Australian National University, where she provides research and project support across projects focused on Indigenous health research.
Prior to this role, Neelam worked as a Principal Research Project Officer in the First Nations Cancer and Wellbeing Research team at the University of Queensland, supporting national wellbeing projects including What Matters 2 Kids and the Out of Home Care Study. She also has experience conducting research in model of care development for Indigenous health services.
Neelam has a background in medical science, public health and Indigenous health research. She holds a Master of Medical Science, a Master of International Public Health, and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Queensland, with research focused on Indigenous youth wellbeing.
